Hazard Analysis Principles and Practice is an 18-hour course aimed at organizations that have or need to implement a HACCP system.
This course provides participants with the knowledge and skills required to risk assess a food process, design and implement food safety controls and monitor HACCP systems.
It is designed for supervisors, trainers and HACCP team members. Participants should have sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene.
Certification is based on a written assessment. This course is a pre-requisite to the HACCP Level 11 certificate course. General Course ContentAward: Successful candidates are awarded the HACCP Level 1 International Certificate.
THIS COURSE IS FOR: HOTELS, GUEST HOUSES, RESTAURANTS AND MANAGERS IN THE FOOD INDUSTRY.
The Food Manager Certification course is an 18-hour programme that is specifically designed to provide management personnel with a working knowledge of the principles of food safety and the introduction to and practical application of HACCP systems.
Through this course, participants will be proficient in Food Safety and Food Hygiene standards, detecting and preventing food Hazards and food-borne illnesses and implementing and enforcing Food Safety Control methods.
This course successfully prepares managers for the CFP-ANSI accredited certification provided by the National Registry of Food Safety professionals, Experior or The National Restaurant Association (ServSafe) in a 2-hour multiple choice examination.
The Food Manager Certification course can be tailored to meet a particular company’s or individual’s needs. One may choose to sit the examination at a reduced cost without undergoing formal training.
Award: Successful candidates will be awarded the International Food Managers’ Certification Certificate and register on the US Food Professional Registry.
The Foundation Food Hygiene Course Level 1 is a 16-hour course that gives participants an appreciation of the fundamentals of good food hygiene.
This course is designed for managers, supervisors and persons working in direct contact with food. The course meets the standard of food safety training for handlers of high-risk foods recommended in Industry Guides to Good Hygiene Practice.
Its particular value is that it encourages food handlers to be aware not only of the best hygienic practices but also of food safety hazards and what should be done to prevent them.
Award: Successful candidates are awarded the Foundation Food Hygiene International Certificate.
The INTERMEDIATE FOOD HYGIENE COURSE is a 24-hour course aimed at persons working in all food businesses at the supervisory and management levels in small and medium-sized enterprises.
These personnel would also have responsibility for quality assurance, one-to-one or on-the-job instruction/training, customer complaints investigations and raw materials procurement and sales.
The Intermediate Course is an ideal development stage for those considering future progression to the Advanced Level programme. Assessment is by way of a 2-hour written examination.
Award: Successful candidates are awarded the Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate.
The ADVANCED FOOD HYGIENE COURSE is a 72-hour course designed with management accountability in mind. It is intended to equip persons in a supervisory or management position with adequate knowledge to ensure that their organization operates in a hygienic and efficient manner. The correct handling of food at all stages of its manufacture, storage, distribution and sale is essential to ensure that it remains safe and wholesome. This will ensure a profitable operation by reducing spoilage and exposure of customers to food poisoning.
Award: Successful candidates are awarded the Advanced Food Hygiene Certificate.
The SANITATION & FOOD SAFETY COURSE is a 12-hour course aimed at equipping sanitation personnel with best practices to carry out the sanitation process in and around food premises. This training is designed for sanitation workers in the food and hospitality sectors.
Award: Successful candidates will be awarded the International Food Handlers Certificate.
The OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY CERTIFICATION COURSE is a 16-hour course aimed at organizations that realize a need to implement and strengthen their OHS program. The course is designed to provide participants with the knowledge and skills required to protect the health and safety of people at work and that of others such as visitors and members of the public who are affected by work activities. This course is designed for managers, supervisors, trainers and persons in the occupational health and safety industry. Participants should have basic knowledge of OHS principles. Certification is based on a written assessment.
Award: Successful candidates are awarded the Occupational Health and Safety International Certificate.
The RISK ASSESSMENT COURSE is an 18-hour course aimed at equipping safety personnel such as nurses, regulatory and safety managers. This course comes with a practical assessment.
Award: Successful candidates are awarded with the CIEH Risk Assessment Certificate.
The CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINING COURSE FOR MANAGERS is a 10-hour course geared towards line staff, supervisors and managers. It will equip them with the tools for training and motivating employees to sustain higher worker productivity, while effectively managing conflicts, reducing work-related stress and maintaining a good customer service tracking system. Ultimately this training will prepare participants for meeting and exceeding customers' expectations and creating new business.
