Located in Kingston, Jamaica, The Food Hygiene Bureau Ltd (FHB) is currently the largest private sector organization specializing in food safety training and consultancy in the Caribbean.

The FHB is headed by CEO and Managing Director, Mrs. Marva Hewitt-Heaven, who brings a wealth of experience in the field, having worked extensively with CIEH (UK) as Senior Trainer.
A graduate of both South Bank University (UK), majoring in Food Safety, Quality and Control (MSc) and Greenwich University (UK) - Major in Environmental Health and Safety, BSc., she has earned the respect of her international peers in the field for her passion and commitment to achieving higher standards of food safety and environmental health.
Her academic achievements, which also include an International Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health and Development (Sweden) are balanced with her practical expertise obtained during her eight-year tenure at Jamaica’s leading beer brewer, Desnoes and Geddes Ltd (now Red Stripe) where she was Occupational Health and Safety Manager and Industrial Hygienist. She also lectures extensively throughout the region.
